Venue Description
The Open Door in Morningside has been supporting older people, people with mental health issues and other vulnerable people in our community for 36 years. We do this through our cafe, volunteer placements, day services for older people and our social groups in art and poetry. Our premises are used by many other groups, charities and faiths. Inclusion is our byword. The Open Door aims to reduce isolation and loneliness by providing love, support, inclusion and a sense of community.Accessibility
Entrance- ramp and rails. Doors- wide enough for wheelchair access. Level access- no slopes, all on same level, stairlift to lower level if required. Café area- enough space to manoeuvre between tables.
