Accessibility

The OVO Arena, Wembley has worked closely with the charity Attitude is Everything to ensure that anyone with accessibility needs has the best possible time, please see below information which may help you when planning your visit. Booking and Collecting Tickets Booking in Person Tickets for all events can be booked in person; The venue Box Office is open on event days from 12 noon. These hours are extended to approx. 9pm on event days. It is situated at the front right of the building on Arena Square.  All positions have audio loop, which can be used by adjusting your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position.  There are two dropped down counter positions to assist wheelchair users. Accessible Booking Line The accessible booking line is open between 10.30am - 4.30pm Monday – Friday for advice and bookings, please call us on 020 8782 5629. If you need any more information on our facilities or access please contact us on any of the above or email us on customerservices@ovoarena.co.uk Wheelchair tickets are available on selected shows; you are advised to check the event page to see if tickets are available, if not then please call the accessible booking line for availability. Ambulant disabled guest and personal assistant tickets are available through the accessible booking line. Collecting Tickets Collecting tickets on the night will be from the Arena Box Office, details on opening times during event days are above and provisions are made for wheelchair guests when collecting, please speak to a member of staff on arrival that can assist you. Personal Assistance Tickets The Arena will provide one free personal assistant ticket with one full paying disabled ticket, please contact the accessible booking line for more information, please be aware that due to personal assistants needing to be able to able to assume primary responsibility during emergencies, the minimum age for a personal assistant ticket is 16 and above. The OVO Arena accepts the Access Card – for more information on this card please visit www.accesscard.org.uk Other suitable forms of proof are: • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) / Attendance Allowance (AA) • Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) • Assistance dog ID • Other evidence will be considered on a case by case basis Queuing If you have difficulty queuing, please speak to a member of staff on arrival to your entrance printed on your ticket, we can sort out priority entry for you, once venue doors have been open. Alternatively you can email customer services and we can arrange permission via an email for early access, usually when the main foyer opens for you to rest before the rest of the venue opens. Inside the OVO Arena Getting around the OVO Arena The OVO Arena has level access from the foyer entrance doors to the dedicated disabled bays via our public lift, other entrances are level access and on the same level as the disabled bays, for any information on the event night please visit our reception which is at the far left of our main foyer or speak to any member of staff who is happy to help. Refreshments and Merchandise Refreshments and merchandise units are located within various areas of the arena; Dropped Counter units are available for food and drink on both the North and South Concourses. You can also purchase food and drink straight to your seats using the venue app. The North and South Merchandise units have lower counters and staff will happily assist you in purchasing any official merchandise or orders. Accessible seating and Wheelchair Bays There are 25 wheelchair accessible spaces within the auditorium and a number of seats for ambulant disabled patrons; we also have chairs for your companion to sit with you. Limited wheelchairs are available from reception, on a first come first serve basis in order to assist you to your seats should you require, please call before you visit so we can arrange a chaperon to welcome you on arrival. These can be booked by emailing customer services on customerservices@ovoarena.co.uk a deposit of £50 is required which will be given back to you on return. Assistance dogs Assistance dogs are welcome; however dependent upon the event may not be able to remain within the auditorium once the show begins, in such cases alternative provision will be made. Please check prior to arrival, dog water bowls are available at reception. Hearing Assistance There is an infra-red hearing assistance system available within the auditorium. Receivers are available for use with or without hearing aids from the venue reception in the foyer; a refundable deposit will be required for security. The hearing loop works in N4 - N12 and S4 – S12 rows A-H, N3 – N9 and S3 –S9 rows J – R, E3 rows A-O and E4 rows J-O. Assisted Performances The OVO Arena is able to offer assisted performances such as sign language interpretation to shows in which a guest required this, in conjunction with the promoter, the venue will work to ensure an assisted performance for this event can be achieved, where possible the venue will ensure that the most sufficient seats are available for the guest to watch the performance and also see the interpreter as practicably possible taking into consideration seating formats, production theming and other guests. Toilet Provisions Accessible toilets are located at various points within the arena building, these are:  Concourse Level – there are 3 accessible toilets on both the North and South Concourses. These are located centrally, no more than 40 Meters from the wheelchair viewing platforms in the auditorium.  Foyer Level – The Public accessible toilets are located off the main entrance foyer.  Restaurant Level – Accessible toilets are located next to standard toilets. • In addition to our accessible toilets we also have an Adult Changing Space located in the foyer. This toilet allows people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well people with other physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis space to use the toilets safely and with comfort. Our space provides: • A height adjustable adult-sized changing bench • Mobile hoist Space in the changing area for the disabled person and carer • Height adjustable sink • Hand dryer • A non-slip floor All our accessible toilets are radar key operated - if you do not have your own, these are available from staff situated in blocks S10 and N10 on each event. Special Effects Some events may include special effects such as smoke, haze, pyrotechnics and flashing and strobe lighting, please speak to reception for more details on your arrival. Emergency Evacuation In the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation, there are special provisions for wheelchair and disabled guests.  All alarm systems within the Arena have Audible warnings; venue staff will alert guests in areas and will assist where needed.  Evacuation routes from foyer and concourse levels offer flat floor egress.  In the event of evacuation from the restaurant or hospitality areas, lifts cannot be used and staff will assist you to a place of refuge to await assistance. Medical Requirements If you for any reason you need to bring medical supplies or medicine with you to an event, please email customerservices@ovoarena.co.uk with information as to what you need to bring, if you can include the show you are coming to see and seat number/s, we will email you back confirming we have received your request. Please then just show the email confirmation from us at your ticket entrance for access, alternatively we will arrange for you to meet our front of house manager on arrival to discuss any additional needs you might have if you need to bring food or drink to manage a medical condition then please also email above, we can make provisions to allow this to be brought in. We also have a dedicated medical team on events that can assist if needed.

Accessible Performances

Assisted Performances Along with all of our event promoters, we will work to ensure that an assisted performance, such as sign language interpretation, can be achieved when required. Where possible we will also ensure that the most suitable seats are available so that the guest can comfortably view the interpreter.
