Venue Description

THG is an award-winning public art gallery showing a programme of contemporary art and craft exhibitions of both local and national significance and a permanent collection of artist Thelma Hulbert's work. Coordinating workshops and activities with each exhibition, learning room with art materials, shop and refreshments area. Fully accessible. Free admission, open Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm.

Staff

All volunteers have ongoing training in helping visitors with access needs and using the lift. All staff undergo Diversification, Equality and Discrimination and First Aid courses. All gallery staff and volunteers have ongoing dementia training and are part of Honiton's Dementia Action Alliance. A staff member and four volunteer have disabilities (visual/hearing impairments , wheelchair user). They are very involved in our access provision and give regular feedback on changes to be implemented. BSL interpreter trained volunteer - please phone ahead to check availaibility.
