Venue Description

The new Regional Football Centre is ideally located adjacent to Scotland’s National Football Stadium at Hampden Park. Each of the synthetic grass football pitches is built to the highest FIFA 2 Star standards, ideal for training and suitable for FIFA approved match play. The inclusion of four all-weather pitches, including an indoor pitch, means that training needs can be met whatever the weather. The indoor pitch has a clear floor to ceiling height of 18m, providing an ideal private environment for match preparation. Accessibility

Outside Access (Main Entrance) Located at the front of the building There is ramp and stair access to this service, ramp overcomes the steps. The ramp is located leading up to the entrance with handrails on both sides. There is level access into the service. Motorised scooters are allowed in public parts of the venue. Lighting levels are bright.

Toryglen has received accreditation for Customer Service Excellence (CSE) is a government standard that is awarded to public sector organisations that can demonstrate the importance of excellent customer service throughout the organisation.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets within this venue designated for public use. The toilet is not for the sole use of disabled people. There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door. This is a unisex toilet fitted with emergency pull cords A key is not required for the accessible toilet. The door opens outwards, and door is locked by a twist lock. Floor manoeuvring space is clear in the accessible toilet. There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side. There is low level sinks and hand dryers.
