Venue Description

Visitor centre for the UK's largest onshore windfarm. Based near Eaglesham, 20minutes away from Glasgow city centre. We have over 80 miles of tracks around the turbines to explore. In the visitor centre we have a exhibition area showing how the windfarm was constructed and several hand-on exhibits about renewable energy. We also have a cafe with observation deck across the windfarm. At weekends and during school holidays we have regular free activities for the children. We also run bus tours across the windfarm on most days.

Accessibility

Entrance is via revolving door but there is a wheelchair sized door alongside for access. No ramps or steps up to the visitors centre. All the centre is on one level with no steps or ramps

Toilets

Accessible toilet on same level as rest of centre. Door extra-wide to accommodate wheelchairs. Grab handles on walls and easy-turn taps fitted to sinks.
