Venue Description

Barlanark Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community. The centre can be hired for a variety of community, social and commercial activities such as sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, small conferences and martial art classes. Experienced Staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements.

Accessibility

The venue has level access from the car park, but not from public transport links. The car park access is 10 metres from the main entrance, whilst the public transport access is 20 metres from the bus stop to the main gate and then via a moderate ramp another 30 metres to the main entrance. There is also access to the building via a small ramp which is situated right of the main entrance which avoids the 2 sets of double doors. Both set of double doors open towards the customer, with the reception sitting at 90cm high immediately left as you pass through the second set of double doors.
