Nice and Freindly venue

I like this place for meetings and also for meeting freinds its quite when the schools are in the only time it gets busy is between 12 and 1pm and when the schools are off THis venue is very bright and modern

Disabled Access Information Provided by The Library at the Bridge

Disabled Access at The Library at the Bridge

There is level access to the main entrance with the main desk 6 meters from the entrance. The main desk is of medium height and has a lower level section for disabled users. To the left of the main desk is a ramp of moderate slope that allows customers access to the service areas, the swimming pool and the café. Motorised scooters are welcome and can access public parts of the building. The lift is 12 meters from the main entrance and is 90cm wide. It has a reversing mirror with visual and audible aids. It also has Braille and Tactile markings.

Accessible parking at The Library at the Bridge

The venue parking is at the rear of the complex and has a non level access to the library. There are 6 designated parking bays within the car park. The Blue Badge Parking does not need to be booked in advance and the bays are 40 metres from the rear entrance. There is an automatic single door that allows access to the café, theatre and swimming pool with a lift and ramp allowing access to the Library which is downstairs.

Toilets features at The Library at the Bridge

All toilets are freely accessible and there are hooks behind toilet doors. All disabled toilets have emergency pull cords. There is also a baby changing toilet available which is locked, keys are obtained from Library staff on request.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
