Venue Description

A flower lovers haven with 20 acres of gardens including extensive herbaceous borders, fragrant rose garden, rockery, fountains, cottage garden, annual meadow, special June and September gardens and much more. Featuring over 6,000 varieties of flowers the main borders remain packed full of colour throughout summer, supplemented by new highlights, like the peonies of June, the roses of mid-summer and the late summer blooms of the September Garden. Plus, a specialist nursery with a large selection of perennials, many rare and unusual.

Accessibility

The entrance, gardens, nursery and cafe are all flat and accessible to wheelchairs. 90% of paths in the gardens are wheelchair friendly, only the cottage garden and rockery have narrow winding paths of either gravel or bark which are unsuitable. All other paths are either tarmac or made of firm cycle path type material.
