Venue Description

Charity Children's Sailing Trust have developed a disused Serpentine quarry into a fully accessible watersports centre with lakeside cafe (and on-site Trevassack Holidays Accommodation) under the Not-For-Profit name of CST Experiences. The 26acre site with 10acre freshwater lake and free parking runs on the ethos of being available to all - with every inch of the public facilities being wheelchair-friendly, two Changing Places facilities, and adapted craft so everyone of any ability can get the chance to experience the freedom of being out on the water.

Accessibility

There is level access via smooth tarmac pathway from the disabled parking spaces in the free car park, throughout the site. There are no steps anywhere, with level thresholds, wide doorways and two Changing Places facilities. There are mobile hoists to aid physically disabled people from the wheelchair-accessible pontoon into the water craft.

Toilets

Our entire site is designed with disability access in mind. There is both an internal and external Changing Places facility, as well as two further large accessible toilets by reception.

Staff

All our staff are experienced in SEND requirements, with our watersports staff particularly skilled at helping people with particular needs.
