Overview
The VisitScotland Information Centre, called the iCentre, offers lots of information about what you can do and see in the area. Tucked away in the corner of the City Square by the Caird Hall it's not obvious but certainly worth seeking out.
Transport & Parking
The iCentre is some distance from the nearest parking. The bus stops, however, are much near being in the centre of the city. The iCentre is about a 10 minutes walk from Dundee Railway Station.
Access
Getting in to the ICentre was easy with a wide doorway and an automated door - once you spot the button. Once inside there is plenty of space to move around and all of the displays were easily visible from wheelchair height. The building also houses the booking office for the Card Hall.
Toilets
Not applicable as there weren't any. The nearby shopping centre, the Overgate, has very good accessible toilets.
Staff
The lady we met was friendly and very helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Our group did wonder why the name was iCentre? Some thought it was a shop for glasses and eye tests.
