Overview

These are Christmas lights with a difference! Fun to go and see the show. Was very busy but you can see from wherever you are - try and get in the middle of the arches for the best experience. Step free but it is on the Royal Mile so there is an abundance of cobbles. It's free but you have to book in advance.

Transport & Parking

It's easy to get to the Royal Mile either by bus or taxi. Not sure where the nearest Blue Badge parking is. If you're getting there under your own steam then remember it's at the top of a hill!

Access

Great - apart from the cobbles - but there's not a lot you can do about that! There's also a couple of 'interesting' dropped kerbs nearby that are pretty steep and become more challenging if wet.

Toilets

Didn't see any public loos - however there are many bars and restaurants nearby.

Staff

All the security staff that we met were helpful.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Very good fun! Hadn't realised that it would be a recording rather than a live choir - but still very good. There are different recordings on different nights so you get to choose from Edinburgh Police Choir, Edinburgh Gay Mens Choir, Scottish Chamber Orchestra etc.
