Venue Description

Pontardawe Arts Centre is a multi-purpose cultural venue in Pontardawe, Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The building is owned by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and is located in Herbert Street. The Arts Centre opened in October 1996

Accessibility

The Box Office and Theatre itself are on street level; patrons with limited mobility are recommended to sit downstairs. Other areas of the auditorium can only be accessed using stairs and unfortunately there is no lift for the circle which is located upstairs. Please speak to our Box Office staff to discuss your requirements when booking your tickets wether its in person with our wheelchair friendly box office or call us 01792 863722 The Bar is accessible as it is on street level too. WHEELCHAIR ACCESS There are six wheelchair positions available downstairs. When booking, please state if you are a wheelchair user so that our Box Office staff can ensure the best seats are available. ASSISTANCE FOR DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE Please speak to our Box Office team (01792 863722) when booking tickets to talk about additional requirements. GUIDE AND HEARING DOGS Guide dogs and Hearing dogs are welcome at the Theatre. They may sit with you in the auditorium or our Front of House team will look after them whilst you enjoy the performance. Large Print Brochures and text are available on request. Toilets

There are two accessible toilets which are located in the Pontardawe Arts Centre, they are accessible from the stalls area of the theatre. The toilet’s are a large cubicle fitted with a hand rail, baby change facilities, accessible wash basin and an outward opening door.
