Venue Description

Revealing the sights, sounds and stories of the world’s favourite game, in the country that took football to the world. Spend a day enjoying Scotland’s record breaking football heritage in the amazing setting of Hampden park, pay tribute to the legends who inspire the champions of today on a journey from past to present. On show are collections which display and preserve the history of the game in its widest form. You can also relax in the café and browse for gifts in the shop. On the stadium tour you will experience the stadium as the players do on matchday – visit the underground roadway, team changing rooms and have the speed of your shot electronically measured in the players’ warm up area. Enter the stadium bowl via the player's tunnel and hear the famous Hampden roar.

About 100 metres from the main entrance to the attraction, there is an area of grass where dogs may be let off the lead. Further afield both Queen's Park and Kings' Park provide larger areas for exercise.
