Venue Description

The 59 Club acts as a Warm Centre for older people living in the Belle Isle area, on Monday and Friday mornings from 10am - 12pm. We provide free tea and coffee and a bacon sandwich. We also have free Tai Chi classes at St. John & St Barnabas Church on Belle Isle Road, Leeds LS10 3DN on Monday afternoons from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

Accessibility

We have a ramped accessible entrance, and a disabled toilet. We have fully accessible transport to bring older people to our venue, and take them home again.

Awards List

We are part of the Neighbourhood Networks for Older People in Leeds. This is a number of local charities based throughout neighbourhood ward areas of Leeds covering the entire city, and providing services and support for older people, from help and advice to Lunch Clubs and digital inclusion classes. Fully accessible disabled toilets with step-free access. Doors are wide enough for manual and powered wheelchairs. Easy turn taps etc.
