Overview
Stopped in for a drink on way for dinner
Transport & Parking
Not sure about parking. There are buses that go close by. We took the tram to The Shore and wheeled from there. Beware anyone on wheels, you need to cross Bernard St by the tram stop and then go along the righthand side of the road as you head towards the Shore. There are no drop kerbs on the left after the first one at the tram stop!
Access
Flat entrance through double doors. They were open when we were there. They might be closed if the weather is cooler and then it might be more tricky as doors aren't automatic.
Toilets
Oddest accessible loo I've come across. Spacious enough to turn a chair, might be trickier with a mobility scooter, and easy to get to but... Door opens outwards and there is no grab bar to help pull it shut. Plus there is a steep 4" ramp down from pub floor level to toilet floor level, so if you are using a manual chair, it won't be easy to get out, once you're in. The grab bars are miles away from the toilet. I could barely reach them. The one on the right is very high as well. The hand dryer is half way up the wall. You could probably wheel under and dry your hair!
Staff
The staff weren't particularly attentive - after telling us where to sit, they left the bar so that my husband couldn't order a drink. They were helpful enough when you did get their attention though.
