Venue Description

The Leith Agency is an integrated advertising agency that creates bold ideas that make a difference. The office itself is very spacious with a large parking lot that can have spaces reserved if need be. There are also multiple eateries and pubs in the surrounding area as well as bus links to all parts of the city.

Accessibility

There are cobbles on the entry side of the street but if you are getting a taxi it is only for a very brief moment as taxis can stop directly outside. The door upon entry is unlocked by punching in a code, or you can buzz which floor it is you are visiting and they'll unlock it for you. When leaving the same door is unlocked by pushing a button on the inside. It's a door that needs pulled/pushed open once unlocked, but if you mention you have trouble doing so whilst getting buzzed in someone will come down to help you. On the ground floor after coming through the door there are two standard lifts and an accessible toilet. The lifts have a door on each side so there's no need to go in backwards in a wheelchair. They will take you straight into the offices on the second and third floor which are open plan with accessible meeting rooms and kitchens.

Toilets

The accessible toilet has step free access, grab rails on the walls and an emergency cable if it may be needed. The door is wide and the locks and taps are 'easy grab'.

Staff

We are a friendly and responsive group of people who will be happy to accommodate to anything that anyone coming into the office may want to check in advance, or need support with. Some of our staff also know the BSL alphabet and basic greetings.

There is a small green area on the other side of the street where assistance dogs can go for doggy toilet breaks if needed. There is also a large public park around 600m away where assistance dogs can be allowed off their lead.

Other assistance dog facilities

We allow dogs in the office and can offer them water from the tap or food if the owner has brought it with them.
