The Pipers’ Tryst is a hidden gem in Glasgow’s restaurant scene. Located in the heart of Glasgow’s music and theatre locale this little restaurant offers delicious food coupled with excellent Scottish hospitality. Housed in our beautiful B-listed building, The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is a comfortable home-from-home located in the heart of theatre-land in Glasgow’s vibrant city centre. Connected to The National Piping Centre this restaurant, hotel, and venue is perfect for a city getaway, special celebration, romantic weekend away, or family break. The National Piping Centre has a reputation for excellence and it is no different when it comes to traditional Scottish hospitality. Open daily serving Glaswegians and tourists alike; this cosy restaurant has become a well known home-from-home.

Accessibility

We want all our guests to have the best stay possible. The building is accessible to guests with mobility issues via a lift on the side of the building. This gives access to the main floors within the building. Please call in advance to arrange lift access. There are also accessible toilets on all floors. As an historic building however, there is no lift facility available to our hotel bedrooms, with a flight of shallow stairs.

Awards List

We recently gained 4 stars from Visit Scotland, one of the only restaurants with rooms to be rated as such! We pride ourselves on a fresh and homely feeling with bespoke bedframes, large flat screen TVs, complimentary fast speed WIFI and welcome drams of the finest malt whisky. All bedrooms are en-suite with double headed rainfall showers, large vanity areas, fine Scottish organic soaps and fluffy towels.
