Yorkshire Dance is a charity which works through dance to create happiness, health, connection and change.

Established in 1982, Yorkshire Dance is a regional charity. We support communities and artists across the region from our home in the heart of Leeds’ Cultural Quarter.

Our building hosts three dance studios and meeting rooms. As well as hiring out our spaces we also run a participatory dance sessions across West Yorkshire, festivals and events and an artist development programme for artists across the region.

Disabled Access Information Provided by Yorkshire Dance

Disabled Access at Yorkshire Dance

Enter Yorkshire Dance through our automatic door. The bell is at wheelchair height. There is a lift up to reception on the first floor. There is an accessible toilet and seating in our foyer area. Once you have signed in at reception, there is a second lift up to our studios. All studio and meeting room doors are wide enough for standard wheelchairs. If using a bespoke electric wheelchair, please get in touch in advance with measurements of your chair and we can let you know if you are able to access all spaces in our building.

Yorkshire Dance does not have a car park. There are pay and display parking bays outside of our building on St Peter's Square. There area a limited number of blue badge spaces on the street.

Leeds City Bus Station is over the road from Yorkshire Dance (a 3 minute travel). Leeds Train Station is a 15 minute walk from Yorkshire Dance. Easy Read directions to our building are available on our website.
