Overview
Wheelchair accessible cinema where you enter the auditorium from the back so don't have to sit right at the front. Wheelchair spaces are well designed so that you don't block anyone's view. Friendly staff. Can use the CEA card to allow a carer in with you for free.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of disabled spaces in the Peacock shopping centre but it can get very busy.
Access
Access to the cinema was good with wide corridors and ramps. Using the lifts in the shopping centre to get from the car park into the cinema can take a while, especially during shopping hours, as only 2 lifts for the whole area
Toilets
Only 1 accessible loo that is also used by the theatre in the same complex. The loo really does need upgrading as quite shabby and not a lot of room especially if a carer is needed.
Staff
Staff seemed friendly and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As the cinema shares the same complex as the theatre you have your bags checked before going in. As well as the usual concession stand you're able to use the theatre bar. There is a nice restaurant at the entrance to the cinema/theatre complex which is accessible and seems to have an accessible loo.
