Overview
The restaurant was wheelchair accessible, with an accessible loo. Staff were friendly. There's parking in the area though not immediately outside.
Transport & Parking
We parked in a disabled space outside the post office across the road. There's just one space there. Otherwise the choice is further down the high street ( a couple of spaces just along from M and S) or in the Village Way car park just round the corner, where there's lots of room but it's a few minutes walk.
Access
Access inside was good. There's an upper and lower level (the loo is on the upper level) and they are joined by quite a steep ramp. This would have been tricky to negotiate if I had been on my crutches. On the lower level the floor was tiled and easy to roll on. The front door was a tad heavy and we needed help with it.
Toilets
The loo wasn't a bad size but there wasn't a huge amount of turning space for a wheelchair. Getting alongside the loo might have been a bit tricky as there were large waste bins there. There were grab rails though not a horizontal one, which unfortunately made getting up tricky. There were alarm cords. Sadly the decor was a bit tired and grubby looking.
Staff
They were pleasant and friendly though they didn't offer help in particular.
