A Perfect Pitstop for Pints

Overview
The Brindley Place tram stop is conveniently placed whether you're doing a bit of sightseeing, a photo op at Black Sabbath bridge, stopping for dinner and drinks by the canal, or attending a concert at the Utilita Arena. The stop is also close to rather lacklustre Walk of Stars
Transport & Parking
The most convenient way to get here is, of course, by tram. If you’re arriving in Birmingham via New Street, you can hop on the tram right outside the station. If you're coming via the canal path, there’s a lift at Brindley Place. You’ll need to press the buzzer, and a staff member will unlock it for you remotely. The lift is on the smaller side but can accommodate a powerchair user and one other person. There’s also a bus stop on Broad Street served by several routes, including the 9 Platinum, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 23 Platinum, 24 Platinum, 822, 829, X8 Platinum, and X10 Platinum services. On Gas Street and Berkley Street, you’ll find some on-street parking spaces.
Access
There is a sheltered seating area on one platform, and ticket machines are available on both sides of the road. Level access is provided on both platforms, with clearly marked areas for disabled passengers to board. This section also features tactile paving. The ticket machine is positioned at a good height for wheelchair users, but there’s no Braille on the panel or buttons, and no headphone jack available. There is a help point with Braille markings and an operational induction loop.
Toilets
Nearby Brindley Place offers a variety of bars and restaurants, many are likely to have accessible toilets. If you need a Changing Places toilet, there are two approximately 500 metres away at the Exchange and the Library of Birmingham.
