Overview

Easy to get into, and around, the café, lovely helpful staff, a great accessible toilet with an agreeable surprise in it.

Transport & Parking

DLR Station Cutty Sark is step-free (so is the entire DLR network) and several bus routes serve Greenwich. Cutty Sark Station is just a few hundred yards from Café Rouge.

Access

5

A solid concrete/stone ramp leads up to the main entrance and access throughout the café is easy.

Toilets

4.5

The accessible toilet is in the adjoining Ibis Hotel, which you reached through the linking double doors. The Ibis reception staff are extremely welcoming. Regular readers of my other reviews will know that I often get annoyed about red emergency cords being tied up out of reach. Imagine my delight when, in this toilet, I found not one but TWO red emergency cords, both hanging freely to the floor! See the video link above! Half a star lost because the toilet is a bit cramped.

Staff

5

Delightful: alert, friendly, helpful, thoughtful. A pleasure to interact with them.
