Overview
There's clearly been a lot of money invested and the old city was much more accessible than i feared - even though the cobbles make it sore on the bum!
Transport & Parking
https://maps.app.goo.gl/CSfLDL35TKFJKNFc8 We parked at Gambetta Square (link above), an underground car park with loads of marked wheelchair spaces. Cost us €4.50 for about 3 hours.
Access
Steep road up to the old city/castle, pavements either side, in not bad nick but could use some resurfacing. Once you get to the castle there are high cobbles (OUCH), wooden slatted bridge over the moat, then a much flatter and less bumpy tiled/cobbled pathway up to the top. Quite steep in places. Most of the shops have level access from this path.
Toilets
No idea, sorry, but there were Portaloos on the way from where we parked - including an accessible one, which is new to me! Plenty of room to manoeuvre inside.
