Overview
Really nice atmosphere and great food! I'd wanted to visit for a long time, so I was happy to finally get the chance. We were seated next to the accessible toilet, which had a cool sign showing a disabled person wearing a Nón lá - a really lovely detail. Access-wise, there’s a slight lip at the front entrance. If you're using a powerchair or mobility scooter, this might be tricky: my powerchair got stuck initially and I had to reverse and try again before getting in. Inside, the restaurant is quite spacious, and being seated near the accessible bathroom helped ease any worries I had. It was fairly quiet during our visit too, which made moving around much easier.
Transport & Parking
Not applicable for this visit - I didn’t use parking or public transport. Might be worth checking parking in advance if you're driving. The pavements surrounding Hanoi Bike Shop aren't great - there's a few cobbled areas.
Access
The lip at the entrance can be a challenge for powerchairs, as it's difficult to tip back. I managed after a second attempt. Once inside, the space is roomy and easy to navigate. Clear signage pointed towards the accessible bathroom. The restaurant wasn't too loud which I appreciated as I don't love loud music as a hearing aid user. The space was well-lit.
Toilets
I didn’t use the accessible toilet during my visit, so I can't comment on details like space or fittings. I’ll update this review next time I visit!
Staff
Staff were friendly and welcoming. They kept an eye on the door and seated us immediately when we arrived. I had called ahead to ask about access, and they were very polite and helpful - and even called me back with extra information, which was a really nice touch.
