Hanwell Wine Estate seamlessly blends tradition and innovation to craft exceptional wines in the rolling countryside of Nottinghamshire since 1975. As a second-generation vineyard, it is led by Helenka, who proudly continues her family’s legacy and passion for the art and science of grape growing. Tasting Room and Bar with Café Menu (Indoor and Outdoor Seating): - Parking and Access: Level access from the car park, through a wide door, usually clipped open. - Ordering: Orders are placed at the bar, with level access via the stable yard. - Seating: There is a large outdoor level seating area, and indoor seating with level access through the stable yard. Three steps with a handrail lead to a lower terrace, which includes park benches and picnic tables. The step edges are marked with high-visibility paint. Vineyard: - Path: Gentle grassy slope from the stable yard along the mown vineyard path. The ground is uneven making it unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies, may be muddy after rain or in Winter. - Distance: Approximately 100 meters to the vineyard chairs - Seating: There are chairs and park benches along the route. Barn Workshop and Meeting Space: - Entry: Small concrete ramp (4 cm) up to the door threshold. - Doors: Access through two sets of double doors with standard handles. - Interior: Wooden, level floor inside. Toilets: Two unisex cubicles, one of which is wheelchair-accessible, handrails, and a low sink. The same cubicle also contains a baby change table.

There is a small dog exercise paddock that is fenced with stock fencing, only the smallest dogs could escape.
Other assistance dog facilities
There is a dog bowl in the stable yard. Assistance dogs on leads are very welcome including in indoor areas. There is a dog tie position in the Stable Yard nearby the toilets. Dogs are welcome in the vineyard and by the lake provided on leads and that their owners can clean up after them. Cats live onsite.
