Family owned Country House Hotel on the outskirts of Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District.  Offering relaxed, friendly and efficient service, as well as great food and drink and luxury accomodation

Accessibility

We have 2 bedrooms designed for guests with mobility problems. Our Classic Groundfloor Bedroom and Loughrigg Suite are adapted in line with M2 accessibility guidelines. Both provide spacious accommodation with bathrooms adapted for wheelchair users - level entry showers, raised toilets, grab rails. Shower Chairs and stools are available. The Hotel has a specific wheelchair entrance and ramp is provided for the single step at the front door. Inside the hotel there is level access to the restaurant, bar lounge, drawing room and reception, as well as accessible toilet.
