Overview

The cottage is fully accessible , very well presented , comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen worktops, sinks and washbasins are all electrically adjustable for height, all the doors are wide enough for wheelchairs. The shower is wheelchair usable and the owner has a manual wheelchair that can be used. I have severe arthritis and find the level access and grab bars invaluable. The view from the wheelchair accessible patio is maginificent.

Transport & Parking

Parking is outside the cottage , the ground is level gravel to the door which has a ramp

Access

There are no steps only a very slight ramp to the door and no changes pf level inside. All doors are wide enough for even large wheelchairs

Toilets

The loo is directly off the bedroom, there are ample grab bars and space for a wheelchair. The bathroom is large with plenty of space for a carer and is well ventilated and a full wet room. The sink is electrically height adjustable and suitable for both able bodied and disable users

Staff

Very friendly and helpul.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

This is a peaceful rural location but that does means the roads accessing it are narrow and its possible if you meet a large vehicle coming the other way you may have to reverse to allow passing. It only happened once in week and in rural areas in Wales and Herefordshire this is not unusual
