Overview
The staff are lovely, the access is great and the exhibitions change regularly.
Transport & Parking
The car park usually has plenty of space, if not there is a local car park really close. If you can't find a space near the top of the hill, I suggest you use the lift through the cafe below if you struggle with the incline.
Access
The entrance has double automatic doors and clear signage, coming into the building the reception desk is low enough to see the staff and reach to pay and there is signage for a hearing loop if needed. The whole building is well thought out with hard flooring or low pile carpeting in certain areas. There was plenty of room to manoeuvre my chair. All interactive exhibits are lowered and have removable seating will space to roll a chair underneath where applicable.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is not has lots of room with grab bars and plenty of space either side of the toilet for transfers. They have signage warning not to block these areas and the emergency pull cord reaches the floor. It doesn't have a changing places toilet. There is a separate baby changing room with a changing mat you can roll under, although the sink is a little high.
Staff
The staff are always lovely and go out of their way to make sure the visit is great. I had a moment where I felt quite ill and I was bright a glass of water and offered further assistance but it wasn't needed.
