CILPK is a membership organisation and seeks to accurately reflect disabled opinion in the Region. Future developments are likely to centre around projects that promote independence with appropriate support, that enable disabled people to ensure their rights to equal treatment in all walks of life are not just spoken about but actually achieved. Step free access, wide door entry. Wheelchair turn circle. Grab rails, easy turn lock and low sink.
Staff
As we are the Access Panel for Perth our staff are always on disability awareness training of some description. Although we aren't sign language trained we have a hearing loop, basic Makaton skills and are aware of how to develop accessible formats for various disabilities.
