Reliably good food and drinks in an averagely accessible venue

Overview
I always look forward to going here. The positives outweigh the 'challenges'.
Transport & Parking
Taxi can drop off right outside. Not many bus options I don't think.
Access
There's a (standard sized) door and a step to get in (4 or 5 inches) and then an immediate turn to the left. Can be a bit tricky. Would have been easier if a woman hadn't decided to push past me while my friends and I were trying to manoeuvre me in!
Toilets
The ladies is entered through a door at restaurant level, down a long ramp, which abruptly ends at the cubicles. Not enough room for a three point turn down there - in fact not enough room to swing a cat - you'll have to reverse into one of the cubicles to turn round. Not ideal, and I don't know if anyone in a wheelchair would be able to negotiate the design. To get out (and I don't know if you'll manage to get close enough to the sinks to wash your hands first) you'll have to have hooked open the door at the entrance when you're on your way in (if you were able to stop rolling down the ramp to do so). The staff are well aware that this situation isn't ideal, and will help with hooking the door open etc - but you need to remember to do that before you start rolling down the ramp!
Staff
They're always lovely. Very helpful. If you phone in advance they'll make sure you're seated at a table with enough room and easy access to the loo.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The step to get in and the issues with the loo don't put me off going here. The food is always delicious, great atmosphere and very nice staff,
