Overview

This is a very large pub that is part of the Wetherspoon chain and is located on the Blackpool Prom across the road form the South Pier and Sandcastle Water Park and a few minutes away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It is very typical of all the pubs in this chain. It is on two floors with a large lift available to the first floor area. There are a mixture of types of seating and chairs can be moved out of the way to let a wheelchair in to the table. The menu and drinks are again typical of this chain.

Transport & Parking

There is no parking outside the venue and there is limited parking in some of the side streets around the venue. The venue is however just across the road from the South Pier and Sandcastle Water Park.

Access

The venue is level from the door in there is a large lift located just in front of the door if you want to go upstairs . We did not use this area during this visit. There was room to move around in wheelchair to access area we wanted to go during our visit .

Toilets

Yes a 5 Star Toilet in a Wetherspoon Pub ? The reason for this is the fact that it is one of the changing places toilets so has fantastic facilities. It is opened using a Radar key and is located in the corner next to the Bar area on the ground floor. The other toilets are on the upper floor but we did not visit this area.

Staff

Staff very helpful pulled a chair out from the table we were going to and made us very welcome.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Because of the location of this venue I am sure it will be very busy at times when the school holidays are on during the Summer time etc. The Changing Toilet is only available during the normal hours the venue is open.
