Overview

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour, or Harry Potter World, as I like to call it has really thought about the people who are visiting it, almost everything is wheelchair accessible and no-one can feel left out visiting here. Audio guides are available to everyone, have touch screens and are so easy to use. If that doesn't suit, you can arrange to have a Braille guide or even (on certain days) a British Sign Language tour guide. These lovely folks also allow guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs inside too. There is so much to see it is really an experience not to miss.

Transport & Parking

5

I arrived at the studio by car and was delighted to see so many parking bays for disabled access, the staff in the parking lot were really friendly and welcoming and directed us to the next available space. From what I understand if you come by train there are regular shuttle buses from the local station, Watford Junction, all of which are wheelchair accessible.

Access

5

If you are collecting your tickets upon arrival there are several booths from which to do so, one of which is lowered for ease of access for wheelchair users. The front entrance has a level access and this is continuous throughout most of the tour. The exceptions are the entrance to the great hall and Diagon Alley which are both on a slight incline. At the end of the tour (I wont spoil the surprise) there is an area which has ramps for wheelchairs to descend. There are rest spots throughout however, if necessary staff are also happy to provide visitors with a collapsible stool.

Toilets

5

Toilet facilities are clearly delineated, with the disabled toilets having good accessibility and room inside if you need someone with you.

Staff

All the staff I met and talked to were so friendly and helpful, it really helped to make it a truely magical experience.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Some of the attractions are not currently wheelchair accessible such as the Hogwarts express, the Hogwarts bridge and the Knight bus however all of these were working props in the film and as such were not built for wheelchair access. They exteriors can still be viewed, but interior access is currently impossible. I doubt however this would seriously detract from your experience.
