Hear from Jay-Ann Lopez, founder of Black Girl Gamers, who will talk about her work to promote diversity and affect change within the gaming industry.

Jay-Ann Lopez is a empowerment influencer, poet, public speaker and entrepreneur. She is the Founder of Black Girl Gamers and Co-founder of Curlture. Black Girl Gamers was initially created as a safe space in 2015, void of the sexism and racism (misogynoir) widely experienced in gaming, and has grown from its original purpose to become the hub for all things gaming from the Black woman’s perspective.
