Overview
Wetwheels three bridges blast. "The boat trip exceeded my expectations. We did a little bit of cruising, a little speeding, and they even gave me a chance to drive the boat! My wheelchair was safely buckled down and all equipment, including lifejackets, was provided. I’d highly recommend it – just make sure to wrap up warm and bring waterproofs for the spray!" Wetwheels Edinburgh offers fully accessible powerboating experiences, giving wheelchair users the chance to get out on the water.
Transport & Parking
We travelled by car. At the marina they are disabled parking Spaces. Directions are provided an email since you after you have successfully Book
Access
Stuff Will guide you down to the wetwheels boat. This involves going along the pier and down a long ramp (depending on the level of the child it can be very steep). The boat is a short distance from the end of the ramp and when you get there there is a Gate that's open and a ramp comes down onto the pontoon so that wheelchairs can rollup from the pontoon into the boat. Once on the boat the wheelchairs are secured down to the boat in order to keep them safe and steady.
Toilets
There are no accessible toilets on the boat but there are accessible toilets at the marina. Therefore you can't use the toilet before leaving for your boat trip or after you have been on your boat trip see photo
