Our Access Survey is back for its 12th year, supported by the Motability Scheme. We want to hear what getting out and about in the UK is really like for you, where venues are still falling short, and which ones are getting it right.
Whether you're a disabled person, or a family member, friend or carer of a disabled person, your experiences matter. Your answers help shape change.
Take the 2026 Euan’s Guide Access Survey.
Our founder, Euan’s sister Kiki, said: "Twelve years on, the Access Survey gives us over a decade of insight into what disabled access is really like, straight from the people who know best, because they experience it every day. Every year, we want to dig deeper into how disabled people really feel about accessibility in the UK.
"We need as many people as possible to take the Access Survey so we can keep making disabled people's voices heard.
"If you're affected by disabled access - whether you're a disabled person, family member or carer - please take part in the 2026 Access Survey to help make a difference."
What you told us last year
More than 4,000 of you took part in last year's Access Survey, and your answers painted a clear picture. Nearly eight in 10 said a trip out had been ruined by poor access. Often, that wasn't because a place was inaccessible, but because there was no way of finding out until you'd already arrived. A ramp at the front door means nothing if the website never mentions it.
In last year’s survey, 77% of respondents said they had skipped a trip because they couldn't find out if there was an accessible toilet, and 62% said they assumed a venue was inaccessible if it didn’t say otherwise, and went elsewhere.
And 65% of you told us you lose more than an hour every week to the hidden accessibility time tax, the time spent researching, phoning ahead and planning around missing or unclear information.
Over a decade of your voices
Every answer you give adds to more than 10 years of evidence that we take straight to venues, businesses and policymakers to help make real change.
Your responses have also shaped our Safer Toilets campaign, which has made more than 200,000 accessible toilets safer across the UK.
Make your voice heard
The more people who take part, the stronger our message becomes. Whether your recent experiences have been brilliant, frustrating or somewhere in between, we want to hear them.
Please take the 2026 Euan’s Guide Access Survey and share it with friends, family and anyone else who can tell us about their experiences of disabled access.
