An update for Signly users

A note for Signly users: if you have used our Signly BSL translation service in the past, you may notice it is no longer available on the site due to funding restrictions. We are looking at how we can best support our BSL users going forwards.

Sharing your experiences

We believe that your experiences matter and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to share them in a way that works best for you. That is why we welcome video reviews in British Sign Language (BSL).

It is a great way to express what the access was like and it helps others know what to expect when they visit.

Here are some things you might want to include in your BSL video review:

Getting there: How did you travel? Was parking available? Was public transport accessible?
Getting in and around: How easy was the entry? Were there steps, lifts, ramps or automatic doors?
Was the signage clear? Were there accessible formats like BSL, Braille, large print or Easy Read?
Accessible loos: If there was an accessible toilet, was it easy to find? Was there a Changing Places toilet? Was there enough space to manoeuvre and for a carer? Was it clean?
Staff and service: Was anyone particularly helpful? How did they make your visit better?

To make your review more helpful, you may wish to include the following:

what you wish you knew before visiting
if you would recommend it to others
if you would go back
any improvements the venue could make
