The disabled access charity Euan’s Guide has now sent out their 50,000th Red Cord Card. These pocket-sized cards are placed on emergency red cords in accessible toilets to remind the public that, for safety reasons, these cords should hang freely all the way to the floor.

Disabled Access Day was created to provide opportunities for disabled people to try something new which may be otherwise difficult in the hustle and bustle of day to day life. So many wonderful organisations got involved and put on special events which were attended by over 13,000 people.
