This was a nice, well-maintained garden that was quite park. It had entrances on multiple sides and was roughly square in shape. There were a combination of stone tile pathways and compact sand pathways and there were some pathways that were up a small step so I couldn’t reach them. In the centre was a round structure, similar to a bandstand but without the steps, which provided a spot to sit and there were also quite a few wooden benches around the garden. While I visited in winter, when not a lot had any greenery on it, it was clear that it was a well-maintained park. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look when things started to bloom. It was a lovely peaceful spot.

The paths were all really smooth around the park, they were a combination of stone tiles and compacted sand. Some of the paths were up a small step and so I couldn’t reach them. But I was still able to navigate around the whole park so it didn’t really matter. There were entrances on each side of the park. The entrance and the pavements around it often didn’t have dropped curbs so it was a bit bumpy navigating them. There were lots of spots to sit in the park. Either at the central structure which also provided overhead protection, or on the wooden benches around the park.

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel

There was a bus stop on one side of the park, on Abercromby Square, where the 699 would stop. The park was about 1.1km from Liverpool Central Metro Station which has step-free access from street to train and is on the Wirral and Northern Lines.
