I am a carer or friend of a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment and speaking or communicating.
Overall Rating
Excellent
For our twins, who have a range of complex needs but can walk, it was totally accessible. The guys who run this company have huge knowledge of helping people with all levels of mobility impairment through their work at specialist outdoor centres.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
For us this wasn't an issue. Our problems are with rough ground, visual impairment and lack of safety awareness by the twins. This venue was great.
Parking & Transport
Good
Disabled parking bays right near the facilities but if these were full it is quite a trek to the next car park. Having said that, I'm pretty sure the company owners would sort you out somehow. I wouldn't personally attempt this by public transport!
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
Spacious and excellent. Plenty of room for me and the twins together in the changing places.
Staff
Excellent
Vicky and Chris are wonderful. Helpful, knowledgeable and fun. Just the right level of pushing the boundaries to make things new and exciting. Garry talks about the wild camp pizza making with awe!
