Aros Park

I read a previous report on this country park which made it sound possible with my Rascal Vista but paths are totally unsuitable now. Very stony. I doubt it would even be suitable for a wheelchair with a strong pusher. It is a lovely park with three walks one round a lake with waterlilies. The toilets were closed although we were there mid-day in July. A few good benches one with a canopy.

My 92 year old Mum drove her motorised wheelchair on the walk around a lochan. The paths are compressed gravel so not perfectly flat but it is the forest and it's beautiful with the little pads in flower on the water. We didn't go all the way round because it was a bit jiggly for her bones - bigger/more all terrain wheels would have helped.
