This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
In this review I will talk about the whole city of Bahía Feliz in terms of wheelchair access. Gran Canaria tourism for disabled travellers is developing quickly with more adapted taxis for wheelchair & scooter users especially in the more popular visitor areas like Bahía Feliz but outside the taxis there are much improvement the city of Bahía Feliz can make for wheelchair users. First off, kerbs in Bahía Feliz are about double the size of kerbs in Scotland and the drop down kerbs in Bahía Feliz are about the same size as average Scottish kerbs (If you somehow find an drop down kerb in Bahía Feliz)
Transport & Parking
We used a taxi to move around Bahía Feliz and the taxi drivers are pretty helpful and very nice.
Access
You would not be able to stay in Bahía Feliz on your own if you're a wheelchair user or simply not good with steep hills as you will need a strong person to help you up and down the kerbs.
Toilets
I never used any public toilets so i can't comment but I know that there were public toilets as I did pass some.
Staff
Staff in Bahía Feliz were generally excellent to disabled tourists.
