Found this randomly when looking for somewhere for drinks at Cowgate. Would be even better in the sunny months when you can sit outside. Love finding an accessible hidden gem.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Level access through beer garden into restaurant/ main area. There are booths, couches, high stools to choose from. Also pool tables if you fancy a game! Music is played throughout and theres 2 screens playing sports or music.
Parking & Transport
0I came on foot/wheels so unsure about public transport/parking. The bar is next to the Premier Inn and then more main roads so parking may be best option.
Accessible Toilets
Average
Accessible toilet is clearly signposted, clean, red cord hanging low and handrails there with roll under sink. Isn’t the largest therefore average rating - I could drive in on powerchair but no room to turn so had to reverse out. There is loads of space to do so, the door opens out to plenty space to turn there and then move to main space.
Staff
Excellent
Helpful and attentive without being annoying. They carried my drinks to my table and if you order food you just tell them a table number they will bring you food.
