I'm Still Here (15)
In 1971 Brazil, Eunice Paiva (Fernanda Torres) is forced to reinvent herself after her family suffers at the hands of government, from The Motorcycle Diaries director Walter Salles.
I’m Still Here is based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva's biographical book and tells the true story that helped reconstruct an important part of Brazil’s hidden history about the horrors unleashed under the tightening grip of a military dictatorship.
Walter Salles' searing film has been nominated as Best Picture at the upcoming Academy Awards, as well as a Best Actress nomination for Fernanda Torres - becoming the first Brazilian actor to be nominated since her mother Fernanda Montenegro in Salle's Central Station in 1999.
