Overview
I've written more about this at www.wheelybraw.scot, but overall I love visiting Ben Lawers for the brilliant mountain views. There's not far to wheel, but I basically head up there for a picnic and the scenery! It's also not far from Lawers Dam and a stunning drive through Glen Lyon.
Transport & Parking
It's a 2mile uphill drive off the A827 along a single track road with passing places. You'll see the National Trust for Scotland parking area on your left (1 accessible parking bay) and there are further non-defined parking spaces a little further up, though the ground is a bit gravelly and uneven. More accessible bays would be beneficial.
Access
It's an outdoor space, so expect gravel and a bumpy path. At the furthest parking area, there's a firm area of grass near a stream, but use your own judgement depending on how the weather has been! If you're heading up here just to get out and enjoy the views though, you don't have to go far and it's a lovely place to stop for a picnic.
