Overview
Ships and ferries go into Zeebrugge and you take a transfer to Bruges but Bruges being a medieval city is not easy on the wheels. We went to Blankenberg which is a post war city and very accessible. There is a good big beach and pier with coffee house. The coffee house has a lift to the Terace Bar.
Transport & Parking
The railway station from Blankenberg takes you all over Belgium and further afield. Our shuttle was provided by Albion Tours. Modern well equipped buses and a great driver, skilled and patient.
Access
A modern city so lots of well paved areas without kerbs.
Toilets
I used the toilet at the pier there is one at the entrance to the pier and one in the Terrace Bar. Adequate for my scooter but not ultra modern.
