I went in to Bonne Marche from the main street in Largs there is only one door in the store, which is level access. The main entrance is usually open as it is a manual door and is usually propped open by staff. The store is a former Mandco Store and would really benefit from having an automatic door fitted. This would mean that the door is automatically close when it wasn't being used and would keep the whole store warmer. When I have spoken to the staff in the past, they have asked me to put it down as customer feedback. The staff find it really difficult to monitor the door at all times for disabled customers as they have to leave the till in order to do so.

This store contains bon Marché peacocks, Edinburgh, woollen Mill and Ponden Home, there is plenty of space for the most part to get around the store, although it can be more difficult at busier times. Just be mindful that there is only one accessible we in and out of the whole store and that is through the front entrance at Bonmarché, The two. Other entrances have steps.

Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free access to most areas

    Parking & Transport

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

In order to take a trip down the town in Largs we usually park in Morrisons carpark or in the car park at the doctor's surgery. Both car parks have access to a walkway which takes you down into the town itself.

    Accessible Toilets

To my knowledge, there are no toilets within the store

The stuff that served me were all very friendly

    Additional Information

The store would really benefit from having an automatic door fitted, and also possibly another step free entrance for fire safety reasons
