    Great for wheelchair access

    Date of visit: January 2015

I am a carer or friend of a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: moving around

    Excellent

The Boots store has a wide automatic door (no step) with press button access that makes it accessible to wheelchairs (and pushchairs, no doubt the other set of customers the store is designed to support). The aisles are wide and uncluttered (with the odd annoyingly positioned pillar but does not prevent access to the produce). Counters mostly low - although higher Prescriptions desk is more of a challenge. Good Staff awareness suggests training in place.

    Disabled Access In and Around

    Excellent

Door access is excellent - no step, wide door, automatic opening with well positioned button to open doors. Inside store is well planned with wide aisles and generally low counters.

    Parking & Transport

Store is inside shopping centre so no immediate parking/access. Level access from nearby street parking spaces/carparks

    Staff

    Rating Emoji

    Good

Staff helpful and not patronising. As access is good less reason to request assistance.
