Overview

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights in room 8. We had a great time in this lovely hotel and would definitely return but there are a few difficulties that a disabled person has to overcome. If you only come in for food or drinks there is no accessible toilet in the public area. (I was able to return to my room). There is access to the rooms from the restaurant but there are two steps into the corridor leading to them and the ramp provided was too steep for the two of us (I could access room 8 by going outside). There are nice gardens but it is hard going on the undulating grass. At the other end of the hotel there is a ramp but it is too narrow for a wheelchair. Room 8 has a wet room with a bar beside the toilet. There is easy access to the shower but the hotel could not provide a waterproof stool. The area beneath the basin is boxed in making it difficult to get close to the sink. Overall I would recommend the hotel because of the stunning views, the friendly staff and the superb food but only if the shortcomings don't matter.
