Brading Roman Villa

Went to this villa as found online that was fully accessible and it is... cannot praise the place and staff highly enough...everything is accessible, including ramps around the entire place..and such friendly staff...highly recommended..a hidden gem

This a really interesting place to visit, for adults and children. Plenty of interactive things for youngsters to do and information for interested adults. Not too big for those who are overfaced by a large exhibition.

Visited Brading Roman Villa with my husband who uses a mobility scooter. Gravel car park but three disabled parking places on tarmac. Solid path to entrance, which has automatic doors. The building is beautiful and one of the most accessible places we have visited. Flat level floors or gradually inclined ramps. Very wide spaces and is designed with a cantilevered roof so there are no pillars obstructing. The fencing area around the Roman ruins is clear so everything can be easily viewed from any level. Staff were extremely helpful, explaining the history of the villa. The remains are impressive and the mosaics amazing. Great cafe with a good selection of light meals and refreshments, including gluten free. Spacious disabled loo. A really great place to visit.
