I am a carer or friend of a disabled person.
Overall Rating
Excellent
I found loads of accessible parking opportunities in the Braehead Multistorey car park. The large parking area was on the third level. Parking is free of charge for customers. What was really good was the easy access to Braehead's Shopmobility from the multistorey car park- where you can hire - for free- a mobility scooter or powered wheelchair, on level 1A. This is easily found via the lifts.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
The lifts were great, and I felt the signage to different areas of Braehead helped me get about.
Accessible facilities: Lift to all areas
Parking & Transport
Excellent
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
Fantastic to have so many parking options in the mutistorey. It did get more full as the day went on, but that is to be expected in a big shopping venue. I didn't use the EV charging point but there is one in the Green Car Park and one in the Red Car Park.
Accessible facilities: Electric vehicle charging, Dedicated on-site parking
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
I popped into the accessible toilet - reachable by lift, next to shopmobility on floor 1A, the door next to it opens to the car park.
Facilities: Accessible toilet
Staff
Excellent
The staff I bumped into during my visit were all really friendly and chatty - from cleaners to service assistants to managers!
